Hi, my name is Caitlin! I’m a full-time professional and part-time food blogger in my 30s sharing delicious and approachable recipes that you can make any day of the week. I find the act of cooking to be so therapeutic. Having a homemade meal just makes me feel better about life. After thinking about starting a food blog for a long time, I finally decided to just go for it and launch Sauté Diem. To quote Chef Gusteau from Ratatouille, I truly believe that anyone can cook. You just have to start with baby steps (like scrambling an egg or roasting vegetables) and work your way up with practice. When I moved out into my first apartment, my New Year’s Resolution that year was to cook one new recipe a week. I learned and improved so much during just one year. Nowadays I’m by no means a professional chef (or food photographer) but I have learned a lot about what I like (and don’t like) when it comes to cooking. I’ve also discovered the importance of convenience as I attempt to plan meals that fit in with my high-demand work life. I’m excited to share these fuss-free recipes with you.
If you try any recipes, please leave a comment on the blog or tag me on social media. I’m so excited to see what you think.
Cheers, let’s eat!
