Servings 1 pizza (2 to 3 people)

Ingredients

  • 1 package Trader Joe's Garlic and Herb Pizza Dough (or other pizza dough or unbaked crust)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (plus a little extra for the baking sheet)
  • 1 package blackberries
  • 1 small jalapeño
  • 10 large basil leaves
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup ricotta cheese
  • 3 slices of prosciutto

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 475 degrees.
  • Mash about ¾ of the blackberries in a mixing bowl. (Hint: If you have a drink muddler handy, that will do the trick! Otherwise, you can use any utensil.) Slice the remaining ¼ of blackberries in half and set aside.
  • Thinly slice the jalapeno and basil leaves.
  • On a lightly-floured work surface, roll out your pizza dough or shape it by hand. (If you don't have a rolling pin, try a wine bottle.)
  • Place pizza dough on a lightly oiled baking sheet. Rub olive oil onto dough.
  • Spread mashed blackberries over the crust as sauce. Top with shredded mozzarella and freshly grated parmesan cheese. Sprinkle dallops of ricotta cheese across the pizza. Scatter jalapeño slices on top.
  • Bake for 10 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and add basil slices. Return to the oven for 2 more minutes.
  • Remove from oven. Tear the prosciutto and place pieces on hot pizza. Slice pizza and enjoy.
